The big news of the day, of course, is that we've now got copies of Songs from Sideways: Year 1 available in the store. Check it out if you're so inclined. Did I mention that I'm happy that you are here? I am. Thank you for coming by. I always promise myself that I'll resolve to update my website more frequently, but I've had enough New Year's Eves to know that most of my promises and almost all of my resolutions don't hold water, so I encourage you to feel free to e-mail me and ask where the heck I've gone if it's, you know, 2009 and I haven't updated at all. More news: I'm leaving for New York this Thursday to attend the New York Television Festival. My Partner in Crime, Matt Gardner, and I have been part of a team of folks working with Dark Heart Productions on a new cartoon pilot, called Wentworth and Buxbury. I've been doing some of the scoring, Matt's been doing some of the animation...it's been a lot of fun!
Now that we have a lovely new layout (which will- thank God- be much easier for me to update), I'm going to try to give everybody status updates as much as possible from the east coast, while we're there. Hopefully this will be a fulfilling experience-- I'm excited.
Other news: Recently, I completed the score to a free video game that, if you have a Windows-based PC (sorry, it's not available for Mac heads like me), I encourage you to download it, if only because it's free. The game is the latest case in the Ben Jordan: Paranormal Investigator series. It's a lot of fun, especially for any fans of the old PC Adventure Games, and did I mention it's free? Go! Go now!
